Meet the New Hero Xpulse 210: Built for Adventure, Designed to Lead

The Hero Xpulse 210 was launched in India in early 2025, with deliveries starting around March. Positioned as an entry-level adventure motorcycle, it builds on the legacy of the popular Xpulse 200 while introducing major upgrades in power, technology, and design. Hero MotoCorp introduced two variants to cater to different rider preferences: a base model and a premium off-road focused model. The pricing starts at approximately Rs 1.75 lakh ex-showroom, making it a competitive offering in its segment while allowing room for the older Xpulse 200 to continue alongside as a more affordable option.

Hero Xpulse 210 Specifications and Design

The Xpulse 210 maintains the rugged, adventure-ready stance of its predecessor but comes with revamped styling and upgraded features. The motorcycle features a semi-double cradle frame made from high-tensile steel that enhances durability and ride stability. Its design includes a round LED headlamp with a transparent visor, tall fuel tank, and an ergonomic scooped seat that provides rider comfort for long-distance travel. The bike runs on spoked wheels sized 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, fitted with tubed block-pattern tires suitable for varied terrains. Ground clearance of 220mm offers confidence over obstacles, typical for dual-sport motorcycles. Overall, the design balances aggressive aesthetics with practical off-road capability.

Hero Xpulse 210 Safety and Features

Safety has been prioritized with dual disc brakes at the front and rear, bolstered by a dual-channel ABS system that features three selectable modes: Road, Off-road, and Rally. This allows riders to customize braking performance per the surface they are riding on, enhancing control and safety especially on loose or slippery ground. The motorcycle uses full-LED lighting for better visibility and durability. A key standout feature is the 4.2-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster, which integrates Bluetooth smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and ride data access. Added extras such as a USB Type-C charging port, hazard lights, and an engine kill switch further enhance the feature set.

Hero Xpulse 210 Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the Xpulse 210 houses a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve DOHC engine adapted from the Karizma XMR platform. It delivers a robust 24.6 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 20.7 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The unit is paired with a six-speed gearbox, a step-up from the previous five-speed on the Xpulse 200, offering smoother power delivery and improved highway cruising capability. The liquid cooling and DOHC valve setup promote better engine efficiency, higher revs, and enhanced thermal management, making the bike suitable for demanding off-road and long-distance touring scenarios.

Hero Xpulse 210 Technology and Features

The Xpulse 210 features a modern technological upgrade over its predecessor. The 4.2-inch TFT color display is a highlight, offering smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. This allows riders to receive navigation prompts, incoming call alerts, and messages directly on the instrument cluster, avoiding distractions on the road. Full LED lighting improves night-time visibility and energy efficiency. The bike also comes with a ride-by-wire throttle for more precise control and smooth throttle response. Its switchgear makes it user-friendly, while features like adjustable handlebars enhance ergonomic comfort for a variety of riding conditions.
